Lady Bird – IndoPeduli Fundraiser, 16 Feb

Bring your friends along to a film night on Friday 16 February to help raise money for AIASA’s fundraising arm, IndoPeduli, to support two  sick members of the Indonesian community.

Lady Bird directed by Greta Gerwig was nominated for 5 Academy Awards. It tells the story of an outspoken teen who must navigate a loving but turbulent relationship with her strong-willed mother over the course of an eventful and poignant senior year of high.

Bhinneka Tunggal Ika – Unity in Diversity

Members of the Adelaide Indonesian community representing the diverse cultures of many regions of Indonesia danced, sang and smiled their way along the streets of Adelaide as part of the 2018 Australia Day Parade on 26 January. Thanks to Eni Mosel, Brett Calliss and Shanti Omedi-James for organising and everyone who participated so enthusiastically.
