Welcome to the AIASA Newsletter September 2018.

Inside: The 2018  Indofest Schools Program goes from strength to strength, as do the monthly Indonesian Food Appreciation events at Foodland Frewville in the lead up to Indofest 2019.  News about a recent visit to Adelaide from the Consul General of Indonesia and our efforts to help the people of Lombok and Palu. There is a gallery of recent AIASA events, including the Quiz Night and the fabulous Wayang Kulit at Flinders University, as well as recipes, and more.

Indonesian Food Appreciation events – calling all cooks!

AIASA Inc. in collaboration with Foodland Frewville, is conducting monthly Wednesday Indonesian Food Appreciation events as one of the lead-up events to Indofest-Adelaide 2019. Join our chefs at Frewville Foodland between 11.30 and 1.30pm on October 31st for a taste of Indonesia!
Ade Endang – Wednesday, 31st October
Olivia Atmadja – Wednesday, 28th November
Seruni Marshella – Wednesday, 12th December

Expressions of interest sought from cooks:
The AIASA Inc. Committee is seeking people interested in presenting Indonesian cuisine to Adelaide shoppers. Ingredients and an honorarium will be provided.
