Last year’s INDOfest 09 saw over 10,000 people attend the festival over five days in April.
With our presenting partners the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, Finders Asia Centre, the Australia Indonesia Business Council and the Mercury Cinema, we presented an extensive program that included:
* A politics forum and Asian Studies Annual lecture at Flinders University;
* A Sundanese Gala Night featuring our special guest artists Seratuspersen and dangdut singer Immelfi from West Java;
* An Indonesian spice walking trail through the Adelaide Botanic Garden;
* An Australian Indonesian Business Council networking forum;
* IF!fest Indonesian film festival;
* The Family Fun Day at Rymill Park.

Our first festival in 2008 far exceeded our expectations, with over 8000 attending over four days.
With our presenting partners the Flinders Asia Centre and Art Gallery of South Australia, the program included:
* A free tour of the Indonesian artefacts on display at the Southeast Asian Art Gallery;
*A performance by local Javanese orchestra gamelan group Gamelan Sekar Laras at the Gallery;
*A politics forum and Asian Studies Annual lecture at Flinders University;
*A lunchtime talk on the 19th Century Balinese painting titled The Dutch Invasion of Bali at the Art Gallery;
*The Family Fun Day at Rymill Park featuring Garis from Sydney.
