BACKGROUND

The Australian Indonesian Association (AIA) of SA, in collaboration with affiliated Indonesian community groups and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in SA, will host the 3rd annual INDOfest on April 11, 2010, in Rymill Park.

INDOfest will once again provide an exciting opportunity for the South Australian public to experience a taste of our nearest neighbour, Indonesia.

This year, the organising committee has decided to streamline the festival program to focus on our most successful main event - the Family Fun Day in Rymill Park. By concentrating efforts on this one day event, we hope to increase the quality, standard and profile of our great festival, and remain committed to providing a free event to the South Australian community.

The creation of INDOfest, initiated by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in SA and the Australian Indoneisan Association, brings together South Australian-Indonesian interests in a celebration with the whole community.
